Priorities for 2025/2026

Priority 1 – Disadvantaged

  • The gap in attainment between PP and Non PP children is reduced.
  • The school has an inclusive ethos where every child is included and catered for.
  • Interventions are impactful and are matched to the needs of the children.

 

Priority 2 – Attendance

  • PP attendance improved to match that of Non-PP.
  • Persistent absence to be no higher than 11%.
  • Persistant lateness is reduced.

 

Priority 3 – Writing

  • Teachers have a secure knowledge of the standard in writing expected for each term.
  • Improved writing outcomes for each year group.
  • Improved spelling in every year group.
  • Children’s improved oracy feeds into improved spelling and sentence structure, which results in improved writing outcomes.

 

Priority 4 – Number

  • All students develop a strong number sense.
  • Children use and apply all four operations confidently.
  • Early identification of and support for struggling learners.
